"Inmate escapes Willow Cree Healing Lodge"

Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation, SK- An inmate from the Willow Cree Healing Lodge, a minimum-security facility operated by the Correctional Service Canada located on the Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation was deemed to have escaped last night after a formal search concluded the inmate was no longer on the premises.
Terrance BEAR is described as 5’7” tall, 206 lbs, black hair, brown eyes, with a medium complexion.
“He appeared to be doing quite well since his transfer here in August- he was quiet and cooperative with staff” says Eric Michael, the Deputy Director of the institution. “He [BEAR] was rated as a minimum security offender and assessed as having a low risk to the public- he is also likely no longer in the immediate area.”
Kevin Seesequasis, the Communications Coordinator for the Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation says that a warrant has been issued for BEAR’s immediate apprehension and return to the CSC custody. “If community members have any information on the whereabouts of BEAR, they are urged to contact the local police immediately.”
Corrections staff “will review the circumstances surrounding the escape and are working with police to locate the offender as soon as possible.”
